From humble beginnings, based in the small village of Hapton in Lancashire, delivering coal by horse and cart, 82 years ago, Fagan & Whalley Ltd now haul single pallets and part-loads, dedicated contract vehicles engaged in multi-drop deliveries, and full loads of packaging and construction materials.

Remaining a family owned concern, the fleet numbers 120 vehicles, of which 95% are Scanias, operating out of five depots and a purpose built 12.5 acre Head Office on a brown-field site in Padiham, comprising 80,000sq ft of warehousing and an 8 bay workshop.

This Scania 113 was regularly engaged on nationwide deliveries of construction materials throughout the 1990s and 2000s and has only recently been retired from frontline service.
