Iarnr reann in English Irish Rail, is the national operator of the Republic of Ireland. The Scammell modelled here was in production from 1964 to 1968 and was faster and more comfortable than its Scarab predecessor. It is currently on display in its former glory at the National Transport Museum in Howth, Ireland, where it was introduced to the exhibit in 1968.
